Tilleman Mr. Henry A. a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 88 years. He was born in Oostende, Belgium and was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Duclos) Tilleman. Henry held a lifetime membership as a 4th degree with the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Honour Guard with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18, Wallaceburg. He was a parish member of Our Lady of Help Church, Wallaceburg. He was a member of the Wallaceburg Kiltie Band. Beloved husband of the late Veronica (Broad) Tilleman (2003). Loving father and father-in-law of Lisa and Brian Hott of Atlanta, GA and Dan Tilleman of Port Lambton, Ontario. Dear grandfather of Stacie and Kris Rogers of St. Cloud, FL. Brother-in-laws Harry and Jean Broad, Bill & Pierette Broad and sister-in-law Helen & Gene McCaffrey. Predeceased by a daughter-in-law Donna (Stuart) Tilleman, his sisters Madeline DHooghe, Stella Broidioi, Dorothy Tilleman and his brother Roger Tilleman. The late Henry Tilleman is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, Ontario. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Help Church in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, December 30th at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Terry Fox Run may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in the Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Henry Tilleman.
