Mr. Henri Alphonse Ameloot, a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (Chatham) at the age of 78 years. Henri was born in Trouville, France and was a son of the late Achiel and Alice (Snaet) Ameloot. Beloved husband of Isabelle Ann (Sweet) (Brown) Ameloot. Predeceased by his first wife Jeannette Jenny (Dennis). Loving father of Rita (Edward) Lepoivre, Roberta (Richard) Authier, Deb (Terry Stenton) Ameloot, Henri Jr. Ameloot, Ron (Julie) Ameloot, Heather (Richard Murray) Guillet, Lori Sheffer, Patti (Tony) Olivero, Richard (Sheila) Brown and Howard (Tracey) Brown. Sadly missed by his 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Michael (Mary Ann), Nelly (Charles) DeCaesteker, Del (Barbara) Sweet, Leona (Levi) Bjorkman, Jane (Robert) Lyons and Donna LaPointe. Also survived by nieces, nephews and family in Belgium and France. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Eric F.
