Mrs. Helen Johnston, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in her 100th year. Helen was born in Sombra Township and was a daughter of the late Dave and Rose (Higgins) Hinnegan. Beloved wife of the late Richard "Dick" Johnston (1991). Loving mother of Dolores (Ray) Kirk, Janet (Ken) Wade, Elanor (Barry) Van Landeghem, Linda (Ralph) Belanger, Dan (Diane) Johnston and Andy Johnston. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Tony Johnston, a great granddaughter, Darcie and her sisters Margaret, Ethel, Mildred, Catherine and Geraldine. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 1-2 p.m. at Our Lady Help Of Christians Church, Wallaceburg with the Funeral Mass immediately following at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. Donations to the Holy Redeemer Parish Building Fund may be left at the funeral home.
