Mrs. Helen (Docherty) Burton, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Fiddicks Nursing Home, in Petrolia, at the age of 80.

Helen was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Currie) Docherty.

Beloved wife of Gerald Burton, Helen enjoyed knitting, and dancing, camping and fishing with her husband, and was devoted to her family.

Loving mother of Kim and Kirsty and step-mother of Cheryl-Ann, Carrie, Cameron and the late Christina.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Stacey, Stuart, Kyle, James, Cassidy, Madison, Keera, Kingston, Phoenix, her great grandchildren Jordan, Jaiden, Brody, Taylor, Mason, Owen, Liam, Kaylea, Morgan, Ethan, Brianna, Cullen, Avalynn, Cade and Waylon, her great great grandchildren Clementine, Marley, Alexander, her step grandchildren Christopher, Isaac and Isabella and her step great grandchildren Kaiden and Scarlett.

The late Helen Burton rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Following her wishes, cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 from Trinity United Church, in Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m.
