Harold Miller

September 27, 1929 – July 26, 2025

We are saddened by the loss of Harold Miller, who passed away at the age of 95, on July 26, 2025. Born at home in 1929 to Annie and Alonzo Miller, Harold was a life-long resident of Wallaceburg. In 1944, at the age of 15, he began working at Libbey Glass, retiring in 1990 after 46 years of service. In 1950, Harold married the love of his life, Theresa Lozon (1933-2000), whom he missed immensely, and now joins.

Miller was an avid gardener and fisherman. He loved playing Euchre, doing puzzles, reading Western novels, and working on projects around the house.  For many years, he played Santa Claus at the County Fair Mall and made drop-in visits for local organizations. He was a mischievous and funny storyteller, and with Theresa, provided a loving home for his children, Dee Gallerno, Richard Miller, Lisa Foulon, Joey Miller, along with beloved family members Dianne Knight-Shusheski, and Bonnie Knight-Ingram. He is also survived by his grandchildren Richard, Michael, Kristen, Holly, Jason, Caitlin, Alyssa, Samantha, and Zoey, along with his many great-grandchildren. He came from a family of 13 and is survived by his sister Annabelle Bechard. He is pre-deceased by his siblings Violet, Ida, Rachel, Robert (Bob), William (Bill), Ernest (Bo), Gladys, Joseph, Alonzo (Lonnie), Roseanna, and Dorothy.

Cremation has taken place, and his ashes will be united with Theresa's in Riverview Cemetery.
