The Rev'd Grace Coleman Anthony, of Port Lambton, was born in Midland, Ontario November 12, 1944 the only child of Stanley and Marion (Dwyer) Coleman. She died November 8, 2016 in her 72nd year.
Grace was the loved wife of fifty years to William Anthony and loving mother to Ian and Marge, Alan and Karma, and Owen and Jen. Loved grandmother to Jessica, Matthew, David, Caraline, Emily, Laura, Amy, Eliza, and Charlotte.
Grace earned a BA in French and a Master of Theology from Huron College, the University of Western Ontario. She taught French at the secondary and primary level in both Wallaceburg and Sarnia. After being ordained Priest in the Anglican Church she served as rector of St. Stephens, Mitchell's Bay for five years before going to St Paul's, Point Edward for ten years. She then served five years in the sub-Arctic at Churchill, Manitoba.
Grace loved her family, people, and her church- especially teaching Bible studies. She also had a deep love and compassion for animals.
She enjoyed travelling throughout Canada, to Kenya, and two trips to Israel. Another passion was sewing and beading which she learned from the elder native ladies.
The funeral will be held at St James Anglican Church, 719 James Street, Wallaceburg, Ontario at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 10, 2016. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
Reception to follow in the church hall. Please make donations to St. James Church.

Cremation has taken place.
