Mr. Gordon Joseph Atkins, a long time resident of Port Lambton, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", Wallaceburg, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Mildred (Gallerno) Atkins. The late Gordon Atkins is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Cremation will take place with a Funeral Mass to follow on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from Sacred Heart Church, in Port Lambton, at 11am with visitation one hour prior from 10-11am. Interment of ashes in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
