Mr. Glen Courtis, of Wallaceburg, passed away, on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Sydenham Residence, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 86 years. Glen was born in Chatham Gore and was a son of the late Harry G. and Captolia (Richardson) Courtis. Beloved husband of the late Marion (Burger) Courtis. Dear father of Nancy (Dale) Ellenberger of Canton, Michigan, Brian (Pat McLean) Courtis of Dorchester, Harry (Debbie Primeau) Courtis of Wallaceburg and Tim (Caroline) Courtis of Cayman Island. Loving grandfather of Chelan, Jacqueline (Paul), Hillary, Andrea (James), Erica (Tim), Ashley, Alex, Trevor, Samantha, Glen Jr., Ryan, Christopher and Matthew. Loving great grandfather of Daegan and Wyatt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Aleta McCallum, a brother Edward Courtis and a daughter-in-law Ruth (Currie) (2002) Courtis. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1pm. Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
