Mrs. Gladys Bogaert , a resident of Wallaceburg , passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the age of 94 with her special K9 companion Pepi by her side .

Gladys was born in Sombra Township and was a daughter of the late Phil and Violet ( Johnston ) Griffith.

Beloved wife of the late Paul Bogaert (1972).

Loving mother of Wendy (the late Larry) Nead, Rick (Delina) Bogaert and Kevin Bogaert.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Larry, Kelly, Lori, Tyler and Cheyenne and four great grandchildren Kyler, Josh, Karly and Meadow.

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Gordon Griffith, Wilfred Griffith, Margaret Kelly, Dorothy Horton, Don Griffith and Stan Ford.

Gladys was a member for many years of the Moose Lodge, the Canadian Legion and the bowling league. She also loved to play cards including tournaments and was an avid boater and fisher.

Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following visitation at 2 p.m., all taking place in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg .

As an expression of sympathy , donations to the Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial , a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest i n memory of Gladys Bogaert .
