Mr. Gerard "Jerry" Robinet, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus in Chatham, at the age of 82. Gerard was born in Tecumseh, Ontario and was a son of Stephen and Veronica (Desrosiers) Robinet. Beloved husband of Leona (Verberckmoes) Robinet. Loving father of Bonnie (Gerald) Cross and Cheryl Robinet. Special friend of Marg Chauvin. Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Shirley (Joe) Cloutier, Lorne Arnold and Salivair "Vet" Jacques. Predeceased by a grandson, Sean. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg at 10:30 am. Cremation has taken place with the interment of ashes at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Our Lady Help of Christians Church C.W.L may be left at the funeral home.
