Mr. Francis "Dan" Ayers, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg, at the age of 66.

Dan was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was a son of Beverly and the late Donald Ayers.

Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Ayers (2012).

Loving father of Daniel (Deanna), Daryl, Sara and Dean (Lindsay).

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Owin, Zachariah, Zayden, Brooklyn, Rylee, Bryn, Bradlee, Jordyn, Nathan and Cameron.

Kind brother and brother in law of Carol (Brian), Diane (Frank) and Jamie (CarrieAnn).

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts. uncles and friends.

Dan loved playing poker and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The late Dan Ayers rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Following his wishes, cremation will take place.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
