Mrs. Florence (McCoy) McEvoy, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Afton Park Place, in Sarnia, at the age of 97 .

Florence was born in Courtright and was a daughter of the late Leo and Anne (MacDonald) McCoy.

Beloved wife of the late Martin O'Leary (1969) and Thomas McEvoy (2003).

Loving mother of Stephen (Ann) O'Leary, Anne (Christie Johnston) van Wyk and Patricia (John) Suboni.

Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kind sister and sister-in-law of Alice O'Leary, Leone van Looy, Edna Anne Muxlow and Betty Reek.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and family.

Florence was heavily involved in the community and volunteered whenever she could.  She won Citizenship of the Year Award for Lambton County from Joe Dedecker.

Florence was a member of Sacred Heart C.W.L for more than 75 years.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11 a.m.

A private family Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton will take place on an earlier date before the Funeral Mass.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Sacred Heart Food Bank may be left at the funeral home.
