Mr. Ewart Francis Powers, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 88 years. Ewart was born in Tupperville, Ontario and was a son of the late George and Evelyn (Fox) Powers . Beloved husband of the late Stella (Benoit) Powers. Loving father and father-in-law of Brenda (Robert) Stokes and the late Richard "Slim" (Diane) Powers. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jaramie (Tracy) Stokes, Vicki (Kevin Dunn) Stokes, Mark (Ellen) Stokes, Kim (Jamie) Dell, Willie (Charlene Atkin) Powers, Michelle (Jason Chipman) Courteaux and Steven Powers and 15 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 4-7 pm. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from Nicholls Funeral Home at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
