Mrs. Emily Rosseel, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, at the age of 80 years. Emily was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Albert and Leontine (Buyse) Van Haecke. Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Rosseel. Loving mother and mother-in-law of: Janet Patterson & Bill Scheer, Marlene & David Bushey, Brian & Lori Rosseel, and Ronald & Linda Rosseel. Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Kind sister and sister-in-law of: Rachel and Servaes DeJans, Lucy Van Haecke, Simonne Van Haecke, Marcel & Yvonne Van Haecke and Albert & Leona Van Haecke. Dear sister-in-law of Mary & George Kumjian of St. Clair Shores. Predeceased by her sister, Mary Van De Venne, and her brothers, Paul Van Haecke, and Maurice Van Haecke. The late Emily Rosseel is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm, with prayers at 7pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 10:30am, from Holy Family Church, Wallaceburg with Fr. Philip Joseph, Celebrant.
