Mrs. Ella Van Geersdale, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Public General Campus", in Chatham, at the age of 73 years. She was born in Chatham and is a loving daughter of the late John and Lottie (Lamarsh) Bravon. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Van Geersdale. Loving mother and mother-in-law of: Sindy & Randy McNeil, Debra & Todd Gurd, Jill & Roland Van Zelst and Tracey & Scott Atherton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Derek (Michelle), Jeffrey, Ryan (Lyndsay), Melissa (Nathan), Christina and her great grandchildren: Jon-An, Hope, and Zoie. Kind sister of: Retta Cadotte, Betty Neves, Ronald Bravon and Brian (Sharron) Bravon. Predeceased by a great granddaughter, Frankie-Leigh and a brother, Kenneth Lamarsh. The late Ella Van Geersdale is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg. A private family service will take place. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
