Mrs. Phyllis Eileen Foster, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance Chatham at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late John Foster. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Terry (Diane) Foster, Carol (David) Gaylard, Peggy (Jamal Sinno) Foster and Gloria Foster. Predeceased by her son Robert Bob Foster. Loving grandmother of Robin, Scott, Dawn, Jodie, Chad, Anthony, Michael, Melissa, dear great grandmother of Tiffany, Ashlie, Skye, Sydney, Kenny, Madison, Dawson, Dakota, Alexis, Robert, Emily, Megan, Jade, Miya, and great great grandmother of Becca, Mackenzie, Ryleigh and Abagail. Kind sister of Marion Armstrong. Predeceased by her brothers, Richard and Andy, her sisters, Dorothy and Jean and a grandson, Kevin. Eileen was a member of the Holy Family Church, C.W.L. and a member of the Wallaceburg Pull Cats. She also enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Wallaceburg Senior Centre. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home (639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, 519-627-2861) on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10am from Holy Family Church. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home. A tree will be planted in the Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Eileen Foster.
