Mr. Douglas "Doug" Carroll, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at London Health Science Centre, "Victoria Campus", London at the age of 73. Douglas was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Harold and Viola (Simpson) Carroll. Beloved husband of Josie (Dubois) Carroll. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 1-5pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011, at 11am, from the chapel of the funeral home with Fr. Mukucha, Officiant. Cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Douglas Carroll.
