Mrs. Dorothy Skinner, of Wallaceburg, passed away, on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance Sydenham Campus , in Wallaceburg, at the age of 93 years. She was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late R. Harry & Francis Maude (Faultless) Barnes. Beloved wife of 68 years to Douglas Skinner. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jim & Kathy Skinner, Priscilla Aliperti and Robert & Rose Skinner. Dear grandmother of Melissa, Robert, Nathan, Michelle, Susan, Jennifer, Jessica, Christine and Jeffery. Great Grandmother of Keith, Bobby, Darlene, Mercedes, Dillon, Kelsey, Blake, Isaac, Angelique, Dominic, Kaitlyn, Calib, Michah. Great Great Grandmother of Annabelle and Rachel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Florence, Mona, Lillian, Mary and her brothers Alfred and Walter. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 11 am.
