Mrs. Doreen Hannah Ross , a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away with family at her side on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 91 years.  She was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Lamb) Dawson.  Beloved wife of the late John Ross (2006) who she has missed everyday. Loving Mother of Patty (Gord) Kelly and Allan (Carolyn) Ross.  Dear Grandmother of Alison (Michael), Chris (Heather), Sean (Amanda), John and Sara (Mike).  Dear Great Grandmother (GG) of Ethan, Hannah, Eric, Maddy, Molly and Kate. Kind sister of Jack (Irene) Dawson, Mary Lou (Gary) Reid and the late Larry (the late Ethel) Dawson. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Doreen was very proud of herself that she had lived to be in her nineties.  Often she would refer to setting a goal for her family.

The family will always remember her as a strong, fiercely independent woman who was known to do things her way.

The late Doreen Ross rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home LTD , 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg.  Following her wishes, cremation has taken place.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Knox Presbyterian Church may be left at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.ericfnichollsfuneralhome.com
