Mrs. Dora Marie Dobbelaar, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Fairfield Park, Wallaceburg, at the age of 89 years. Dora was born in Holland and was a daughter of the late Pieter and Rozalia (Picavet) Valckx. Beloved wife of the late Frank Dobbelaar (2011). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bernie & Robin Dobbelaar, Tony & Tammy Dobbelaar and Francis & Janice Dobbelaar. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Nikki, Chris, Jordyn, Shayne, Dylan, Ashley, Lauren, Paul and Sean and her great grandchildren Cleo and Boe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Rosemary and her brothers and sisters Frans, Maria, Mina, Lee, Yoos and Bert. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 28, 2014 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 1:30 p.m. with Father Raju Allumpurath, Celebrant. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Neo Natal Care or the V.O.N. may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Dora Marie Dobbelaar.
