Mr. Donald "Don" Rose , a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at North Lambton Lodge, in Forest , at the age of 80.

Don was born in Dover Centre, Ontario and was a son of the late Stephen and Albina (Larsh) Rose.

Beloved husband of Vicky (Alexander) Rose.

Loving father of Sherry (David) Crowe, Stephen Rose, Robert Rose and daughter-in-law Judy.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tiffany (Jason), Tashia, Melissa (Damian) and Lindsay (Liam) and his great grandchildren Ion, Travis and Devon.

Kind brother-in-law of Gerald Alexander, Viola Little, Arlene Alexander, Rosaire & Anne Alexander and Lorne & Nancy Alexander.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Willy, Gordon, Ceville, Raymond, Edward, Harvey, Gladys, Irene, Eileen, Marian, Doria, Orval and John.

Don was a member of Holy Family Church and the Knights of Columbus, Council #2102, 3rd Degree. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, bowling, welding, gardening and playing cards..

Family and f riends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday , October 14, 2016 from Holy Family Church , Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a . m .

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg .

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society or Bayshore Home Health may be left at the funeral home.
