Mrs. Debbie Shephard, of Tupperville, passed away, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph Site at the age of 51 years. Debbie was born in Wallaceburg and is a loving daughter of Shirley (Laprise) Shephard and the late Ray Shephard. Beloved wife of Tom Trembley. Kind sister of: Wayne (Denise) Shephard, Linda Shephard and Barb (Rusty) Vercauteren and sister-in-law of Dan (Tammy) Trembley, Jace (Synthia) Trembley and Brenda Griffith. Loving aunt of: Jodie (Lamont) Giardino and their children, Devin and Jarrett, Jeff (Wendy) Vercauteren and their children, Nathan, Jeremy and Corey, Michelle (Bob) Lalonde and their children, Holly and Cody, Pete (Michiko) Van de Veire and their children, Philip and Patrick, Mike Van de Veire and his son, Bailey, also beloved aunt of Chad Nantais, Jeremey Nantais and Chelsey Daley. Sadly missed by her 4 legged best friend, Molly and special friend, Cedric Isaac. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by a brother-in-law, Morris Vercauteren and mother and father-in-law Gerald and Bernice Trembley. The late Debbie Shephard rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg. The funeral service was held on Monday, March 15, 2010, in the chapel of the funeral home, at 1pm with Rev. Brian Horrobin, Officiant. Words of remembrance were given by her sisters Barb and Linda and her friends Will Bartlett and Lori Dutot. The honourary bearer was Bruce McKeegan. Pall bearers were Bill Easton, Jarrett Giardino, Bill McCorkindale, Laurie Anne Bartlett, Cedric Issac, and Eric Jacobs. Flower bearers were Holly Lalonde and Conchita Easton. "Time In A Bottle" was performed by Joe Walsh, Herb Classens and her Nephew Jeff Vercautereen. Scrpiture reading given by Wendy Vercautereen. Video tribute by sister-in-law Denise Van de Veire.
