Obituary

Mr. Daniel Charles Vermast, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 26, 2023, Wallaceburg at the age of  63.

Dan was born in Wallaceburg June 4, 1960 to his parents Barbara Burrows (Lee) and the late Leon Vermast (Rose).

Beloved husband of Connie (Foster/Ogletree) Vermast.

Loving father of Tiffany (Dan) Cooper, Tina (Steve) Bogaart and Trevor Ogletree.

Brother in law to Chris & Carol Foster.

Sadly missed by his 3 beautiful granddaughters whom he loved so much, Leah Bogaart, Brianna Bogaart and Hannah Grace Colwell.

Missed by his sister Tina (Dave) Authier and his brother Jeff (Louisa) Vermast.

Also missed by his step brothers Rick & Ed Wilde, Bill Burrows and Tom (Kelly) Burrows. We also can't forget his furry granddogs Lily, Bella, Rocco and Winston.

Godfather to Laura (Birch) Ross.

Predeceased by in laws Francis & Ursula Foster.

Dan worked his entire life in the grocery business starting at Gordon's and ending at No Frills; always coming home with a story or a new nickname for someone.  He was always a hard, devoted worker and always gave everything he had.

Dan will be remembered privately with a Celebration of Life at a later date.

The late Daniel Vermast rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.  Following his wishes cremation will take place.
