Mr. Daniel Klanyi, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 81 years. He was born in Hungary and was a retired employee of Libbey Glass. Kind brother-in-law of: Joseph Toth and Katalin Kranicz of Harrow. Sadly missed by his step daughter, Veronica and his step son, Vendel, both of Hungary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The late Daniel Klanyi is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St.. Wallaceburg, until Thursday, July 30, 2009 when funeral services will be held, in the chapel of the funeral home, at 1pm, with Fr. Greg Bonin, Officiant. Cremation will follow and the interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Hungary.
