With great sadness, the family of Crystal Babbitt, of Wallaceburg, would like to announce her sudden passing on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Wallaceburg Hospital at the age of 47.

Crystal was born in Windsor, Ontario and is the beloved daughter of Vicky (Vancoillie) (Wayne) Carter.

Beloved wife of Robert Babbitt for 24 years.

Loving mother of Cassandra and Klarissa Babbitt.

Sadly missed by her grandmother Judy Vancoillie, her mother in law Betty Babbitt, brother in law Richard Babbitt, her nephews Cameron and Caleb and her niece Anna.

Also sadly missed by many friends and family and her beloved fur babies Bella, Maisie and Tucker.

Crystal was a devoted teacher for over 24 years.  She loved dancing, her hot tub, travel, swimming with the dolphins, long drives in the Cadillac and shopping especially bargain shopping with her daughters. She was known as everyone's Mom.

Following her wishes, cremation will take place.

Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 6-9 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. from First Baptist Church , in Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue or the Breakfast Program may be left at the funeral home.
