Mrs. Corrie Armitage, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the age of 83 years.  She was born in Holland, a daughter of the late Piet and Johanna (Geelhoed) Dierx.

Beloved wife of the late John Armitage (2007).  Mother of Becky (Darryl) Smith and John Jr. (Cynthia) Armitage.  Survived by her step-children Brenda (Pierre) Sauve, Brian (Karen) Armitage and Carmen (Tom) McGregor.  Sadly missed by 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Sister and sister-in-law of Murray (Rose) Dierx, the late Jacob (the late Janke) Dierx and the late Mary (the late George Jr) Rabideau.   She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The late Corrie Armitage is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg. (519-627-2861).  Visitation will be on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 10am to 12noon.  The funeral service will then take place at the funeral home at 12 noon.  Cremation will follow and the Interment of ashes will be in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
