Mr. Clarence "Clair" Alexander, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Chatham", at the age of 77 years. He was a son of the late Fred and Dorilla (Lozon) Alexander. Survived by his wife Sharon (Jinkerson) Alexander and predeceased by his first wife Geraldine (McClinton) Alexander. Father of Dennis (Annmarie) Alexander and Christopher Bennett. Step-father of Ted (Candy) Bechard, Anita Burke, Alison Green, Tammy Dupuis and David Bennett. He is also Survived by many grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Brother and brother-in-law of Gerald Alexander, Rosaire (Anne) Alexander, Lorne (Nancy) Alexander Viola Little and Victoria (Don) Rose, Clara Alexander, Laura Alexander and Arlene Alexander. Predeceased by his brothers Henry, Amedee, Victor, Armand, Clements and his sisters Loretta, Martha, Rita and Patricia. The Late Clair Alexander is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. At his request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Interment of ashes will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
