Mrs. Christina (Cadotte) Jenkins, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Sumac Lodge, Sarnia, at the age of 79.

Christina Jenkins was a Nurse with the Libbey Glass Factory for most of her career.  After leaving Libbey Glass she continued with her passion of caring for people and finished her nursing career as a VON Nurse.  She was an author who self published several books and spearheaded a local writing group who published a book of short stories.  She loved trivia.  If she had the opportunity to be on the show Jeopardy, she very likely would have been a champion.  She was a long standing member of the Catholic Women's League.  But above all else, she was kind and loved her family fiercely.

Christina was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margrette (Jinkerson) Cadotte

Beloved wife of the late John Robert Jenkins (2020).

Loving mother of Maureen (Roland) Sager, Monica (Peter) Ramsay and Rob (Sarah Woodley) Jenkins.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Amber, Cody, Dustin, Mariah, Sadie, Turner and Daisy and her great grandchildren Kamryn, Emma and Riley.

Kind sister of Cathy (Tony) Squire and Carol (Claude) Janssens and sister-in-law of Margo Jenkins and David (Don Kennedy) Jenkins.

Predeceased by a brother Timothy.

Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  The Funeral service will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society may be left at the funeral home.
