Mr. Charles A. McCarron, of Wallaceburg, passed away, on Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance Sydenham Campus , in Wallaceburg, at the age of 81 years. He was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Charles W. McCarron and Phyllis (De Gurse) McCarron. Also predeceased by his step mother Ursula (Gormley) McCarron. Beloved husband of 58 years to Donna (Ewing) McCarron. Loving father and father-in-law of David (Lisa Bartoletto) McCarron of Ottawa and Kevin (Katrina) McCarron of Midland, Michigan. Dear grandfather of Matthew, Nathan, Samantha, Denielle and Joshua. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Bernard and Mary McCarron of B.C. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family. Predeceased by a brother Patrick McCarron and a sister Theresa McCarron. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. Interment of ashes will take place in Riverview Cemetery, in Wallaceburg, at a later date.
