Carolyn Iona Sterling, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010 at the age of 65 years. She is the daughter of Beulah (Rankin) Cooper and the late Glen Cooper. Carolyn worked at the Glass Factory for over 35 years, was a member of the Moose Women and was an employee of the Moose for several years. Sadly missed by her dear friend, Jack Sterling. Loving mother and mother-in-law of: Tracey Trahan (Ron Hill) and Trever (Cindy) Sterling. Dear grandmother of: Matt, Mike, Jaramy, Craig, and great grandmother of: Brodie, Kylee and Camry. Kind sister of Barb Lozon. Special caring friend of: Marlene, Marilyn, Christine and Carol. Predeceased by a grandson Kyle. The late Carolyn Sterling is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, Ontario. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 from 7-9pm. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 11am, in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Len Myers, Officiating. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
