Mr. Burton Tiffin, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg, at the age of 78. Burt was a son of the late Cecil and Mabel Tiffin. He was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Greenwood, Br. 155, and was a Past Officer, Executive Committee Secretary Treasurer, Poppy Chairman, Membership, 1st Vice President, Past President and Service Officer. Loving father of Christine (Jim Kupiak), Michael Tiffin, Wayne (Tracy) Tiffin and David (Patricia) Tiffin. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Janine, Brad, Shawn, Jason, Crystal, Melissa, Rebekah and his great grandchildren Keevah, Keira, Layla, Carter, Ben, Madelyn and Emma. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two children Johnny and Steven and his brothers and sisters Willard, Edith, Merle, Audrey, Bob, Bud and Barb. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 18, Wallaceburg, at 11:00 am with a Legion Service beforehand at 10:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 18 may be left at the funeral home.
