Mrs. Betty Taylor passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 89 years. Betty was born in Nova Scotia and was a daughter of the late Louis and Bessie (Brimacombe) McNutt. Beloved wife of the late Howard Taylor. Loving grandmother of: Rob and Steven Taylor of Niagara, John (Karri) Kopinak Jr. of Wheatley, Kelly (Tyler) Calvert of Calgary, AB and great grandmother of: Emma, Erin, and Allison Kopinak. Thank you to the 3rd floor nurses and staff at the Sydenham Campus for making her last days comfortable. A special thank you to her friends at Morgan's Point United Church in Wainfleet for their prayers and encouragement in recent weeks. As in life, Betty wanted no fuss to be made over her so her wish to have no funeral or service will be honoured. Cremation will take place with the interment of ashes to take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village may be left at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg. Online condolences may be left at www.ericfnichollsfuneralhome.com. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Betty Taylor.
