Skinner, Betty (Elizabeth Isobel Ross), 86, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the comfort of her home. Betty was born September 23, 1929, Youngest child of the late Roderick and Mary Ann (Sims) Ross. Betty was raised and lived all her life in Wallaceburg. She married Grant Skinner (1995) and had 4 children; Brian (Sue) Skinner, Becky (the late Jim, 2006) Stoliker, Brent Skinner and Heidi (George) Balogh. Betty was grandma to Beth (Mike) Lyons, Nicki (Dave) Lane, Jennifer (Michael) Lobo, Stacey (Brian) Martinson, Matthew Skinner, Samantha (Anna) Balogh and Lauren (Brady) VanKulen. Great grandma to Avery, Olivia, Grayson, Stella and Cecilia. Betty is predeceased by her brother Roderick and her sisters Violet and Jessie. Our mother was employed by the Capitol Theatre in Wallaceburg, the Bell Telephone Company as an operator and worked for many years in the office of the family business. Betty volunteered at the Serendipity Gift Shop at the Sydenham Campus of the C.K.H.A, the Canadian Blood Services and the Breakfast Program for school children. The late Betty Skinner is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, at her request cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Wallaceburg Animal Shelter, the L.H.S.C. "Cancer Center" or the Serendipity Gift Shop at the C.K.H.A. "Sydenham Campus" may be left at the funeral home.
