Betty Holmes, a resident of Sarnia, formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the St. Joseph's Hospice, in Sarnia at the age of 79 years. Daughter of the late Jerome and Doras (Thibault) Murphy. Step-Daughter of John Kazook. Mother and mother-in-law of Debbie Holmes and John (Connie) Holmes. Survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sister of Jackie (Jimmy) Phair. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, (639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, 519-627-2816) Visitation on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11 am from the funeral home . Donations to the St. Joseph's Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
