Mrs. Barbara Anne "Barb" Trafananko, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus in Chatham, at the age of 80 years.  She was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Harvey & Mary (Connor) Dawdy. Beloved wife of the late Edward Trafananko (2008). Loving mother of Bryan (Lori) Reaume, Brad (Becky) Trafananko and Brandon (Penny Tasker) Trafananko. Dear grandmother of Dustin, Ben, Jesse, Michael, Natasha, Brayden, Brendan and great grandmother of Connor, Harbour, Taylor, Hailey, Mia, Cole, Chloe and Crew. Kind sister of Richard Dawdy. Predeceased by her sister Marjorie Jean and her brothers Gordon, Lloyd, Hubert, James, Wayne and Harvey.  She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The late Barb Trafananko rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario. In following with her wishes, cremation will take place and her ashes will be interred in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. As an expression of sympathy , donations to Community Living Wallaceburg may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial , a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest i n memory of Barb Trafananko.
