Mr. Armand Michial Benoit, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Bluewater Health, Sarnia, at the age of 76 years. He was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Ernest and Germaine (DeWagner) Benoit. Beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" (O'Leary) Benoit. Loving father of Sherrie (Matt) Daudlin, their children Noah and Hannah. Father of Kevin Benoit, Kevin's daughter Lyrissa (Jonathan) Dionne; their children Tiger and Tanner, Kevin's daughter Michele, her children Olivia, Austin and Ariel. Father of Armand Benoit. Father of Dave DaSilva.

Kind brother of Simone (the late Oscar) Labor, Margaret (Gord) Smith, Jennie (Bob) Van de Weghe, Richard Sherbrooke, Linda (Isi) Fleury, Ernie (Maureen) Benoit, Elaine (Terry) Wells, Jack Benoit, Barb (Joe) Pemetel, Donna (Randy) Booth, Jim Benoit, Rosemary Zenovitch, Pat Benoit and Darlene Benoit. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by a sister Roxanne Esch (2005).

The late Armand Benoit is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 6-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11am from Our Lady Help of Christians Church. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice, St. Vincent de Paul or Memorial Mass may be left at the funeral home.
