Mrs. Alta Miller, a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the age of 92 years. She was born in Blenheim and was a daughter of the late George and Carrie (Thomas) Marlatt. Beloved wife of the late Don Tiny Miller and her first husband, William F. Proudy. Loving mother and mother-in-law of: William B. & Judy Proudy, Pat & Jack Garrett, Ken & Charlene Proudy and Linda & Ron Labadie. Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Kind sister of Alve & Jean Marlatt of Blenheim. Predeceased by a daughter, Betty Lou, a son, Donald, a sister, Myrtle and 5 brothers: Vernard, Gordon, Roy, Morley and Delbert. The late Alta Miller is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin, Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 26, 2009, at 2 pm, in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
