Taken by our Lord at St. Joseph's Hospice Wednesday July 20, 2011 after a courageous battle, Allegonda (Helen) Peters in her 85th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Karel. Beloved mother of John (Donna), Mike, Rita (Steven), Ann (Jamie), Caroline, Cecilia (Jan). Loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren and great grandmother of 4. predeceased by her parents Johannes and Johanna Timmers, and brother Bill. Survived by brothers Andrew (Katrina), Tony (Mary), John (Anne), Andy (Helen), sisters Deena (Arnold), Antonia (John), Frances, Mary (Pete). Sister-in-laws Mary Peters and Rita Timmers. The family gives special thanks to the caring staff and volunteers at St. Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia. Visitations on Thursday July 21 2011 from 2 pm to 4 pm and in the evening from 7 pm to 9 pm at Nicholls Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday July 22 2011 at 10 am from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Wyoming, On, Fr. Peter Scott celebrant. Interment at St. John's cemetery Sombra, On.
