Obituary

Mr. Albert Francesco Martinello, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg, at the age of 78.

Albert was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Primo and Angela (Guidolin) Martinello.

Sadly missed by his kind sister-in-law Helen Martinello of Sarnia, his niece and nephews John, Sandra, Stanley, Peter and Guy.

Albert is predeceased by his brothers Aldo (2009) and Dino (2010).

Albert was a proud member of Our Lady Help of Christians Contemporary Choir, he also could be seen on any given day walking in the community as he enjoyed being outdoors and exercise.

The family would like to offer sincere thanks to Dr. David Miller and all the nurses and staff who so gracious cared for Albert during his stay in the hospital.  We are extremely grateful for the kindness and grace you showed during this time.

The late Albert Martinello is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Wallaceburg with the Funeral Mass celebrated immediately following visitation at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent de Paul may be left at the funeral home.
