Mr. Albert Woody Kerkhof, His easy smile and generous nature will be missed by all. A resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He was born in Holland and was a son of the late John and Jans (Verbeek) Kerkhof. Beloved husband of Bertha (Van Damme) Kerkhof. Loving father and father-in-law of Shirley (the late Marvin) Bondy, Ron (Evelyn) Janssens, Larry (Kathi) Janssens, Fran (Ted) Webb, Murray Kerkhof and Alan (Judy) Kerkhof. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Laurie, Kevin, Rodney, Amanda, Leslie, Marlo, Shelley, Jeff, Erika, Katelyn, Deanna and the late Michelle. Sadly missed by his great grandchildren Sean, Jen, Jared, Corey, Eamon, Bridget, Erik, Cristian, Caden, Ashley, Zack, Skye, Daniel, Randy, Carter, Ethan, Audrey. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Mary (Marius) Nooyen, Tony (Josephine) Kerkhof, Joe (the late Zelima) Kerkhof, Harry (Bernadette) Kerkhof, Nelly Kerkhof and Ton Crommenakker. Predeceased by a brother Frank (Ida) Kerkhof, Theo Kerkhof, Dina (Frank) Rosseel and Bertha Crommenakker. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, (519-627-2861), on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 3, 2011 at 10:30am. From Our Lady of Help Church. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
