Mrs. Adela "Addie" Van Schyndel , a resident of Sarnia , passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 93.

Addie was born in Danbury, Saskatchewan and was a daughter of the late Kazik and Mary ( Yacysheyn ) Mirva.

Beloved wife of Herb Van Schyndel and predeceased by her first husband Doug Moreland.

Loving mother of Patricia Thorner, Maureen (Ron) Coshall, Lonnie (Annette) Moreland and John ( Margot ) Moreland and the late Joan (the late Mick) Johnston .

Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Dear step-mother of Bonnie Gobits and sadly missed by a step granddaughter and step great grandchild.

Kind sister of Stella, Rose, Joe and Bruno.

Predeceased by two grandchildren, her sisters Jean, Antonia, May and her brother Walter.

Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

The late Addie Van Schyndel rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg .

At Addie's request, cremation will take place.

As an expression of sympathy , donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial , a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest i n memory of Adela "Addie" Van Schyndel .
